The Hitman series was first launched at the end of 2000 and has proven to be a very popular game over the years. It is a "stealth" game and puts you in the world of an assassin. To date, there have been four Hitman games and the newest one, Hitman: Absolution, is due out some time this year.

The International Contract Agency (ICA) has plenty of funds and serves its purpose well: to provide assassination (and sometimes mercenaries) for hire. They operate pretty much all over the world, wherever they are needed. Agent 47 is a contract employee of the ICA. 47, as he is usually called, is a very dangerous assassin, which means that he is very good at his job. Obviously, men like this need handlers from the ICA to provide them the means necessary for the job.

Enter Benjamin Travis, ICA handler. He has been assigned to replace Diana Burnwood as 47's handler and, given his resume, he is perfect for the job. At one time, Travis was a decorated Marine - a Bronze Star recipient - but after some less-than-ethical practices, he was dishonorably discharged and put on trial. Thanks to an intervention by the ICA, the charges were dropped and he now works for them. The man is highly intelligent and very good at manipulating situations for the outcome that he wants, but he is also mentally unstable. When you combine these facts, he is the perfect handler for 47.

Powers Boothe provides the voicework and motion for Benjamin Travis. You most likely recognize the name and I'm sure you will recognize his voice and face as Boothe has been in a very long list of TV shows and movies, including Sin City, 24, and Deadwood. In the videos just released to Youtube, you can see clips of Benjamin Travis' bio and an interview with Power Boothe and Shannyn Sossamon, who plays Jade in the new Hitman: Absolution. Jade is Travis's secretary. She is trying to work her way up and keeps up with him. Both Boothe and Sossamon not only do the voices, but also the movement for the characters, so as they're saying the lines, they are performing the actions that you see in the cutscenes of the game. Listen to them describe the process for yourself and relish in the anticipation of the new Hitman: Absolution coming in 2012 and check out the latest screenshot below.
