Fallout Gets a Few Celebs for Vegas Entry Company: Bethesda Softworks Product: Fallout: New Vegas Welcome to the wasteland, Wayne Newton. Fallout creators, Bethesda Softworks announced their star-studded voice cast for the upcoming RPG Fallout: New Vegas. A few celebs are returning to reprise roles they had previously voiced, but a few newcomers are helping out to make a big difference in the already colorful cast of characters that define the franchise. The big news is that the "Narrator" role, which is traditionally voiced by Ron Perlman ("Hellboy", "Sons of Anarchy") will still be voiced by Ron Perlman. (Whew! The rest is just icing on the "War never changes" cake.) Matthew Perry (Chandler from "Friends") has agreed to play Benny, a Vegas gangster-type with secret motives and the role of the wasteland radio DJ will be none other than Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton. Newton will appropriately play the DJ named "Mr. New Vegas." Danny Trejo ("Predators", "Machete") will play Raul the Ghoul, who fixes cars as well as guns. "Chuck" fans will be pleased to know Zach Levi is playing a fanatic of the Followers of the Apocalypse named Arcade who is hiding a shady past. And many gamers will recognize Felicia Day from "The Guild", (but I remember her from Microsoft's 2009 E3 Press Conference) who is scheduled to play Veronica, a scribe for the Brotherhood of Steel. Apparently, the Brotherhood's reach has extended much further than the wastelands of D.C. since Fallout 3. Other celebs have committed to voice roles as well. Bethesda is going all out, it seems. Michael Dorn (Worf from "Star Trek: The Next Generation") will reprise his role of Marcus from Fallout 2. Rene Auberjonois ("Star Trek: Deep Space Nine") will play a shut-in named Mr. House. Kris Kristofferson, THE Kris Kristofferson is playing the role of Chief Hanlon and William Sadler ("The Shawshank Redemption") will play a friendly robot named Victor who thinks he is a cowboy. Bethesda is making sure they have another hit on their hands with Fallout: New Vegas. These well-known voice talents go a long way to helping establish character and build up the world of Fallout around the player, which immerses them in the world that much more.
