Transformers: War for Cybertron Multiplayer Demo Explodes Onto Xbox Live
Company: Activision
Product: Transformers: War for Cybertron
Gamers who like Transformers and have access to Xbox Live are in for a real treat: the multiplayer demo for Activision's upcoming bot battler Transformers: War for Cybertron has hit the Marketplace, and is currently available for download.

The multiplayer demo for Transformers: War for Cybertron offers a taste of what's coming when the game launches later this month. Gamers will be able to participate in ten-player matches on a map called Molten. Players will be given instant access to two of the game's classes: Scout and Soldier. Furthermore, the leveling system will be on full display; hardcore gamers can expect to stay up late unlocking new weapons and abilities for their robot in disguise.

Two game modes will be available in the demo for Transformers: War for Cybertron. The first, Team Deathmatch, is self-explanatory. Autobots and Decepticons fight in a battle to the death. The second mode is almost self-explanatory, considering how many times it's been used before. Conquest has both teams vying for control of different points on the map.

On top of the single player campaign, the full release of Transformers: War for Cybertron will offer much more of just about everything: maps, modes, abilities, etc. It will also give players the opportunity to create their own Transformer.

We'll be back with full reviews when Transformers: War for Cybertron drops on June 22.
