Mace Griffin: Bounty Hunter: Hunt Them Down |
Mace Griffin: Bounty Hunter has spent about as wild a ride in the Industry as do the people in the gameplay it contains. Teetering on the edge of delays, pulling through management changes, surviving design overhauls, and averting disaster after disaster, this game has made it out alive and seemingly in time for a near future release.

This futuristic, sci-fi gun slinging game puts you in the boots of one Mace Griffin, a man who is out for the blood of the people who killed his friends and turned his life into a constant chase. There is no short of action in the gameplay, and definitely no delay, either. One of this game's bragging rights is its ability to seamlessly move from Flight Sim to First Person Shooter. The preview build we saw had Mace flying around in space, blowing the hell out of some aliens, and then landing on a distant mother ship. No loading time was detected between when the ship landed and when Mace hopped out of the cockpit and proceeded to whoop ass on the ground.

With a guaranteed load of cool weapons for both Mace and the ships he flies, some serious enemy AI, and action that would make Dirty Harry cry, this is definitely a title to keep an eye on. Things are looking well, and for those of you who have been following this game from the start, this news should be a beacon of hope to you all.
