Prince of Qin: Prince of Qin Preview |

Imagine ancient China. Now imagine a wide three-quarters view of the world. Throw in some heavy role-playing elements and a lot of action, and you've got Prince of Qin. 2200 years ago, the first Emperor of China was put into power. His methods, however, were not all that sound. He turned into a tyrant, bringing woe to the land and its inhabitants. Soon after his death, an uprising began, which soon led to war.

Which is where you come in. As a hero of the people, your task is to bring order back to a troubled land. You will not face this peril alone, though. You can muster a group of allies, along with new skills, techniques, weapons, and magical abilities, to vanquish the enemy who has tainted the country with its villainy.

This early copy showed off more of the game's technical side than anything else, like graphics and networking capabilities. However, it didn't leave out the fighting, which can best be described as close-quarters group melee action. Both the graphics and action were mighty clean for this early a showing, which can only lead us to believe that this embryo will grow into a far superior state than it is currently in.
