Set on a futuristic Earth, Nexagon: The Pit takes players into the world of arena combat. The 4 different sides to choose from include alien, robot, fantasy, and war-like groups. These are no normal contestants, though. In the future, the government has decided to let prisoners fight for their freedom in the pit. A sure thing to delight an audience, TV stations picked it up quickly, Nexagon: The Pit was born.
This isn't one-on-one action, though. Battles are fought by teams, and each team consists of 4 different types of fighters. As a sort of coach and general manager, it is your task to create one of these teams and fight your way to freedom. By winning matches, you gain more money, which lets you buy more fighters, or you can build up your sanctum. Each team's sanctum will be a separate platform attached to the main battle map, but can be fought upon as well, making each fight unique from the rest.
Not only can you beat up on your opponent, the maps are fully interactive and everything is destructible. No matter what the strength of something, if you keep pounding it, eventually it will fall. With all the features promised mixed together and wrapped in a fully 3D world, Nexagon: The Pit should be on the wish list for any action fan.
