Since KITT is an incredibly complex and advanced vehicle, many of the 'problems' or unbelievable aspects presented in
Knight Rider can be completely covered up with a little imagination and belief that KITT is truly an extraordinary being. KITT's body never weakens visually, and his performances in tight squeezes and rooftop excursions make him seem more man than machine. Nevertheless, KITT is not an average car. The sealant keeps his frame from degenerating, and jumping from building to building is something of a trademark for this vehicle.
All in all, Knight Rider is a driving game that some gamers have wanted for quite some time. The landscapes, though sometimes repetitive, keep players active while zooming by at 130 miles per hour. Randomly spliced cinematic-like shots of KITT jumping over a barricade as you drive through massive highways, or pulling a donut to switch directions keeps the monotony to a minimum. However, the camera never ceases to show you what you need to see when it's needed. Already popular in Europe, and with a cult following waiting for something like this for twenty years, Knight Rider will definitely shape up for a successful debut in America.
