HDTV DVD Movie Upgrade for Playstation 2

Product: HDTV Movie Player

Microsoft intends to launch an external HD DVD player for the 360 and PlayStation 3 will have a built-in Blu-ray support when it comes out. Where does that leave PS2 owners in the here-and-now?

If Xploder has anything to do with it, they will be sitting back and enjoying HD quality video via their PS2s. Xploder has announced that they will launch the HDTV Movie Player to allow millions of Playstation 2 owners to upgrade their PS2 consoles, so that they can play their favorite DVDs in Enhanced Definition mode on their HDTV sets.

For gamers who have upgraded their video displays to HDTVs but are still waiting for a console with HD movie capability before investing in a HD player, the HDTV Movie Player will allow them to UPGRADE NOW and get enhanced crystal-clear picture quality from their existing movie collection by simply hooking up a Playstation 2 console to your HDTV set.

The HDTV Movie Player will allow gamers to Play DVD movies in Enhanced Definition (ED) TV 480p mode; a higher resolution for improved image quality. It includes a built-in menu-driven interface and high-quality RGB component cable which connects the PS2 directly in your HDTV to ensure superior image quality. The HDTV Movie Player will be available for both PAL and NTSC PS2s.
