If you preordered Borderlands 2 (and you should have), you now have access to a new character. This new character can throw down with the likes of Axton, Zer0, Maya, and Salvador. She can slaughter bandits and Hyperion forces with impunity. She's also a little girl.

So who is Gaige? She is a Mechromancer. You know, like Necromancer, but with an awesome killer robot instead of stupid crappy dead things. She can summon a customizable D374-TP (Deathtrap) to assist her in the manner she sees fit for the situation.

Gaige the Mechromancer is now available to all members of the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club. If you believe you are a member, but are not sure, check the receipt from your Borderlands 2 purchase for a downloadable code. If you are not a member of the Premiere Club and wish to summon a Deathtrap of your own, you can purchase Gaige for 800 Microsoft Points, or $10.
