Pete's Rock N' Roll Dueling Piano Bar is the diamond in the rough on 6th Street. What you may not know is that at its inception in 1992, it wasn't dueling at all. It began on Austin's historic 6th Street as a one man show, spearheaded by Steve Green, and it went by the name of Pete's Peanut Bar & Piano Emporium. The show's popularity helped the bar grow for 6 strong years, at which point Corey Urbach, who has been with Pete's since the very beginning along with Greg Sacony, took the reins and decided we needed a duel! The riot that is Pete's can now be experienced at four Texas locations including Austin, Addison, Fort Worth and Houston.
Pete's Rock N' Roll Dueling Piano Bar is an Austin Institution. One thing they promise you is that a visit to Pete's will result in a night of an extremely great time. If your voice and hands aren't sore the next day, they say they haven't done their job! The players perform the latest and greatest hits, as well as your oldies, but goodies making this a place for everyone to have the time of their life.
Texas' Top Entertainers take the stage each night on two baby grand pianos, in two-person rotations every hour on the hour. All four players even join together on stage multiple times throughout the evening to bring you songs filled with more instruments and more energy.
