With the approaching release of the eagerly anticipated Epic Mickey from one of the most respectable figures in the industry, Warren Spector, Disney has announced a special Collector's Edition of Epic Mickey. Available for pre-order starting today (right now!), Disney is crafting a very special treat for fans willing to shell out an extra twenty dollars.
The Collector's Edition package will include the full copy of the game, a five-inch collectible Mickey Mouse figurine, Nintendo Wii console skins and remote faceplates, and one bonus dvd with behind-the-scenes features from the making of Epic Mickey.
We here at Game Vortex have already been properly excited for Epic Mickey for some time now. Since E3, StarScream and FenixDown are still recovering from their Spector-induced fevers. (Symptoms include watching old cartoons, growing a beard, and a general sense of awe in the presence of gaming greats.)
Epic Mickey is easily one of the most unique games to be released this year. The incredible amount of hype built around a game about Mickey Mouse is truly remarkable. So be sure to pre-order your copy of Epic Mickey from participating retailers as soon as you can. Disney promises retailers that supplies are very limited. The Collector's Edition will cost $69.99, while regular copies will cost $49.99. Epic Mickey will be available this holiday season exclusively for the Nintendo Wii.
