Microsoft is challenging you to, "Create cutting edge Xbox 360 games and receive your share of $75,000 in prizes and the opportunity to have your game featured on Xbox Live."
Working alone or in teams of up to 7 people, contestants will use the freely downloadable XNA Game Studio 2.0 to build their games. Everything needed to create games for Windows and the Xbox 360 is right there at your fingertips. FREE XNA Creators Club Membership : Well, almost everything. In order to actually play your game on your Xbox 360, you have to have an XNA Creators Club membership. However, when you register in Dream Build Play 2008, you actually will receive a FREE 12 month Trial Membership to the XNA Creators Club.
So, in summary... It's free to register to enter Dream Build Play 2008, it's free to download Game Studio 2.0, and, when you register, you get a free 12 month XNA Creators Club trial membership.
