For those without kids or easy access to them (though I really can't see you reading this if you aren't in one of those two groups), The Wiggles are a group of children's performers who educate and entertain everyday on the Disney Channel. The shows are aimed squarely at the 2 - 5 age group and combine basic educational skills with lively songs.
Sing a Song of Wiggles features around 30 classic nursery rhymes that are tied into a variety of basic skills. Most involve language skills, though others introduce sound, rhyme and even math. While not quite as engaging as other kid-focused shows I've seen, The Wiggles is still fun. Each song is performed by The Wiggles and their friends and each takes on a role in the production. From there, viewers are invited to sing along and maybe learn a thing or two while they're at it.
I don't see too many kid's DVDs with extras, so I was surprised to see that a few were included. In addition to a set of bloopers, the disc also includes an adventure through Sydney with Dorothy the Dinosaur and Rub-a-Dub Dub with the Soap in a Tub.
Nearly and hour and a half of The Wiggles might not be on the top of every parent's list, but Sing a Song of Wiggles is sure to make Wiggles fans extremely happy.
