The next day Bonnie and Clyde meet up with Henry (F. Martin Glynn) just like they had planned at Jake's (T. Max Graham) Bar and whorehouse in the middle of nowhere. He has only one whore left though, because a rich doctor bought the rest for companionship. Henry has a bank job for them to pull. He and Horace (Jared Reck) have been casing a bank. Clyde apparently knows Horace and doesn't like him, filling him full of lead and killing him on sight. I must mention though that the bullet wounds didn't bleed at all. I think that was a bit of an oversight in the effects department. Anyway, it looks like the bank job is off the list now.
Not far up the road, there is a weird man named Dr. Loveless (Allen Lowman) who lives behind a burlap bag with only one eye hole. He has a very child-like assistant named Annabel (Jennifer Friend). I love her character, she's hilarious! I do think she and Bonnie are my two favorites and they're so very different. Lovelace keeps a shock collar on Annabel for when she doesn't behave. Loveless also has Dracula (Russell Friend) as a "guest" in his house. He has procured Dracula and awakened him in hopes of a cure for his condition that keeps him hidden behind a burlap sack. As it is, Annabel has to perform "the process" on him to keep his whole body system clean.
Meanwhile, back with Bonnie and Clyde, Henry has convinced them to pull a job stealing from men about to buy loads of moonshine and steal the moonshine as well. The job goes way south though and Jake ends up shot, but alive. Since Henry knows that Dr. Loveless is a doctor, they decide to go ask him to come back and help Jake, even though Bonnie doesn't want to. Bonnie goes up there alone to get the doctor since she can charm anyone. Once there though, she meets Dracula and things don't go as she expected. Instead of getting the doctor to leave with her, she ends up staying for a while. Clyde heads that way to rescue her and really doesn't expect what he finds! From here on out, things are really messed up and you'll just have to wait and see if anyone survives!
The "Behind the Scenes" feature is pretty good, but nothing really earth-shattering. The "Loveless Viral Video" is hilarious, though. It's very short and you just have to watch it. Bonnie and Clyde vs. Dracula is a wonderfully dark comedy. I realize that it was done on a very low budget with unknown actors, a lot of whom are related to the director, but the quality was great and the acting was fantastic. You wouldn't know just by watching that it really is low budget because it is so well put together. If you're looking for a horror movie that will also make you laugh out loud, I highly recommend you pick up Bonnie and Clyde vs. Dracula today!
