If you're a Halo fan, you might fancy the FPS Freek Infinity, as it was inspired by Halo 4. Hey - if you're going to increase your control, you might as well select your own personal style, right?
Performance:
Performance-wise and functionally, the FPS Freek Infinity works just the same as the FPS Freek - or, perhaps, like the more recently released FPS CQC, in that it features a concave thumb surface and adds a bit of height to give you better accuracy and precision when playing. However, the FPS Freek Infinity is a normal height extension, adding a full half-inch to the stick height, unlike the lower-profile CQC.
Like all of the KontrolFreeks I've tried so far, the FPS Freek Infinitys fit snugly on the Analog Sticks of the OEM PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers, so you can play as rough as you normally would without fear of them popping off of your Xbox 360 or PS3 OEM controller.
The FPS Freek Infinity features a concave thumb surface, cupped so that your finger can rest in it and the laser-etched rubber thumb surface provides even enough grip for when the competition has you sweating bullets.
Finally, the Infinity features a bright blue thumb surface, adding a bit of pop, while the black lower half helps it to blend in to most controllers' Analog Sticks, unlike the white lowers of the original FPS Freek.

Drawbacks & Problems::
FPS Freeks are one of those things that I, personally, like to keep in play. I take them off if a small child or pet might be able to get hold of them, but, otherwise, I'm generally content to keep them attached to get the extra control when I'm playing. There aren't a lot of products I keep using long after I've reviewed them, since other products come in to be reviewed.
If you have little ones around, who may be likely to pop small things in their mouth and choke on them, you'll want to keep the FPS Freek Infinitys out of harm's way. Sadly, there's no storage provided to keep them together when not in use other than the plastic blister pack they come in, but they can be mounted back on the card inside the packaging pretty easily (until it wears out), so you may want to keep the original package for storing them.
The Infinitys come in a pack of two and retail for $20. Considering that you can take the FPS Freek of your choice with you to a friend's house to enhance his controller (for your personal use) while you're there, you can use a single pack on two controllers if you only want to enhance a single stick and you can use them on multiple controllers from multiple companies for multiple systems, that's not really a bad deal.
