PSP Pro Pak
Score: 97%
Developer: Mad Catz
Device Type: Multi

Function:

Mad Catz? PSP Pro Pak is intended as a complete starter pack solution for your PSP. This combo pack covers your needs for storage and protection and includes a USB Link Cable to allow file transfers to and from your PC, as well as In-Ear Headphones for using your PSP without disturbing others.

Performance:

The PSP Pro Pak is a nice starter kit. It definitely covers the basics. The Hard Case is made of hard plastic and can store your PSP and two UMD discs securely while offering some weather resistance.

The included Car Adapter ensures that you can keep playing your PSP on that long car trip this summer, and can even recharge your PSP in remote locales so you can play games and watch movies while you?re camping out and ?roughing it.?

The In-Ear Headphones (or ear buds) are high quality and include their own clamshell storage case that you can wind their cords up into, making them perfect for the game-on-the-go.

When your PSP is not in its Hard Case, you still can offer protection against screen abrasion with the included removable Screen Protectors. Four are included, so if you manage to scuff up one of your screen protectors a bit on that camping trip, you?ll have three more to go. Also, in addition to being able to keep two UMDs safe in the Hard Case and another in the PSP, the PSP Pro Pak includes six UMD Cases, allowing you to safely store a total of nine UMD Cases with a PSP and this combo pack. Not too shabby!

Drawbacks & Problems::

There?s really not a drawback to the PSP Pro Pak. It retails for about $30 USD, but it seems to be well worth it. The Hard Case seems to be protective, but not designed for carrying on your person, as it has no belt loops or similar. If you carry a book sack, purse, or similar personal luggage around, you could easily put the Hard Case inside of this and your PSP would be protected from reasonable jostling as you take it around with you. If you don?t have such a bag, you may also want to look into getting a soft case with a belt loop. The Hard Case would still be nice for storage, however.
