The
Mobile Monitor 5.4 is the easy, snap-on solution to all your travel gaming needs. Included with the monitor is a power-plug adapter, cigarette lighter adapter (for those long car trips), and plug adapter. Installation and removal of the device is easy - just snap it on and pull it off. The device is even designed to allow you to switch games without having to remove the screen.
The screen is better suited for brighter color games than darker ones. When testing the monitor with Wave Race and Smash Brothers, the picture was clear and easy to see. There were a few problems with motion becoming blurry - but it's not too detracting from the image. This did make games like Pikmin and Rogue Leader hard to play in some areas (such as the Death Star Trench and Forest Navel), but they were still playable.
I was surprised at the quality of sound produced by the screen's speakers. Obviously it doesn't compare to a Dolby Surround Sound receiver, but it's still a good, stereo sound.
In addition to working as a GameCube monitor, an included adapter can be plugged into the device allowing it to become a portable screen for your PS2, Xbox, or DVD player.
