Stats:

Star Strike
Element:Magic
Health:260

Critical Hit:8
Elemental Power:25

Attacks:

Star Strike’s base attack is called Star Gate. It shoots out a star at enemies and the star then returns like a boomerang. Her secondary attack is called Cosmic Twirl. When you press the button for it, Star Strike will twirl, bouncing the returning star off of her fans making it even more powerful. It can be difficult to get the hang of this, but trust me, it is worth it! Her first upgrade is called Starfall. This upgrade gives her a third attack button that will cause stars to fall from the sky to the exact spot that you pressed the button. Even if she moves, the stars will still fall there for a very short time. Star-Filled Sky will make those stars fall longer and in a bit more area. Your Biggest Fan will make her spin wider so that it is easier to bounce the stars off. The last upgrade before choosing a path is Star Power, which makes it so that you can press the button for Star Gate very quickly to shoot a lot.

The top upgrade path will upgrade Star Strike’s Star Fall ability. First is Star Light, which makes a big star fall that you can then spin to deflect. Second is Star Struck, which makes the stars falling even more powerful. Finally is Star Bright, which lets you use Star Fall two times. This can essentially give you a shield to shoot from behind if used correctly. The bottom upgrade path works on the Star Gate ability. First there is Atom Splitter, which splits your star into two when it is reflecting. Second is Star Evasion, which is a passive ability that permanently increases her armor. Finally there is Super Star. After buying it, you will need to learn to deflect a star four times, which will make it quite deadly! The Soul Gem (found in Rampant Ruins) ability is called Shooting Stars. It basically makes your main attack work much better when used quickly.

Comments:

There really is no major difference between Lightcore Star Strike and Star Strike other than the physical eyes that light up on Lightcore. They are both favorites of mine so I quite like having both to choose from or even both on the screen at once when there is someone else playing with me. I love that Star Strike’s ranged ability is still very strong up close, especially when reflected. She is a great character to use for just about anything.

On-screen, Star Strike doesn’t really walk. Instead she glides gracefully across the screen, bringing destruction to any enemies anywhere near. Granted, if you press your main attack button way too much and continually deflect, you can really fill the screen with stars everywhere, which can get a bit confusing if you’ve got two Star Strike's on-screen at once, but it’s perfectly deadly, for the enemies, of course.

If you’re looking for an all-around excellent character, I highly recommend checking out Star Strike today. She’s an amazing character that will get you through anything.
