LucasArts didn’t have all that much new data on their soon to-be-released dark future game, Fracture, but they were kind enough to grace us with some more screenshots.

For those who haven’t been following this game, due to devastating climate changes, by the early 2100’s the central parts of the United States have been flooded. The country is literally split in two and two governments form. The western side is known as The Republic of Pacifica, while the eastern side refers to itself as The Atlantic Alliance. Each side has taken a strong view about how to survive the new shape of the world. The Atlantics have embraced genetic research and have performed DNA manipulations on their population, while the Pacificans have taken the technological approach and become cyborg-heavy. By the year 2161, the two countries have become a powder keg, and it isn’t long before war breaks out.

With terrain deforming technology, both sides will literally reshape the world they fight in as the Atlanticans attempt to invade the Republic of Pacifica’s capital. It’s up to Jet Brody and his technological marvels to stop the invading force before it is too late.

Look for Fracture on the PS3 and 360 this October.
